Biography

I define myself as a mix between a manager an entrepreneur and a researcher. My mission is to foster human and sustainable development at all levels: territories, organizations and people. Thanks to my work in ARCO (Action Research for CO-development, www.arcolab.org) I discovered I particularly love building, leading and consulting organizations in which people can thrive and fully express their potential. I started managing ARCO research centre in 2009. Since then, our team grew up from 2 to 30 people and we worked in 93 countries on more than 400 projects. ARCO provides research and consulting that support all those organizations that want to have a positive impact on society and the environment. In 2011, I co-founded and started managing the Yunus Social Business Centre University of Florence (www.sbflorence.org) in partnership with Nobel Peace Prize Muhammad Yunus. The YSBCUF focuses on creating enabling ecosystem for social businesses and supporting the start-up of Social Business. While managing the centres, I was able to discuss my PhD in Economics at the University of Florence in 2017 with a thesis titled "Analysing social enterprises and their ecosystem". In the last 12 years I had the opportunity to work in several countries such as Bangladesh, Brazil, Bulgaria, Egypt, Ethiopia, Morocco, Senegal, Tanzania, Turkey, OPT. I directly managed more than 50 projects, consultancies and evaluations.
