Luca Koltai

Organization: HETFA Research Institute

My first experience on social economy dates back to 2000 at White Cross Foundation, where I was a member of a team supporting woman starting their own childcare social enterprises. Later I’ve been participating many of the EU funded projects focusing on employment and development of the social economy, and third sector workplaces for vulnerable unemployed. As an NGO leader I have field experience on the everyday work of social enterprises at Budapest Chance Nonprofit Ltd. (providing jobs for long term unemployed and homeless) and Habitat for Humanity Hungary (Nonprofit Ltd. supporting DYI renovation of poor home owners) As a researcher I’ve been focusing on the third sector, employment and social issues during my job at National Institute for Social Policy and Labour and at Hetfa Research Institute. I have more than 15 years of experience on research related to public policy, social and employment issues.
